My wife, Patricia, and I embarked on our amazing adventure to South America on August 9, 2001 (her birthday). We came to Suriname to teach in the mission field. It has been an exciting endeavour so far...

Why did we go to Suriname?

We know that being obedient to God is key in our relationship to Him. We felt God leading us to the mission field after teaching for seven years in North Carolina.

He made it clear that He wanted us to go to Suriname. We both teach at the American Cooperative School in Paramaribo. It has been very rewarding.

Saying "GoodBye" at Suriname Airport

Hello Everyone,

Sadly, after 3 years in Suriname, we must bid this place good-bye. It's one of the most difficult things that I've ever done. We have many fond memories here and many good friends that we are leaving behind. They all will hold a special place in our hearts. We have a busy summer ahead and then off to Dallas Theological Seminary in August.
